Afternoon excursion truffle hunting near Cittá di Castello including tasting different truffles, explanation of their use in Italian cooking and preparation of various dishes, followed by a dinner based on truffles at the Fattoria, returning to Villa Moscatelli afterwards. Includes private car transfer to and from Cittá di Castello.

Pecorino Cheese Farm Visit - Monday or Thursday
Walking trip (15 minutes), to see how Pecorino cheese is made at a local farm. Follow the process from sheep grazing in the fields, through to milking down to the farm where you can watch Pecorino and Ricotta cheeses being made. Tasting afterwards with chance to purchase the cheese direct from the farm.

Vin Santo tasting and museum visit (www.vinsantolasoffitta.it)
Experience a typical rustic house on the borders of Umbria, which still uses ancient traditions to cultivate and produce honey, marmalades and the delicious Vin Santo. Learn the process of drying the grapes to make this special fortified wine, visit the museum and sample homemade cakes, jams and Vin Santo in the kitchens of the house. A true step back in time…
